VBOX 4 Firmware v1.1 is here to deliver enhancements for CAN logging, ADAS support, Robot Integration and more

This latest firmware is free and available to all new and existing VBOX 4 users, reinforcing our commitment to ongoing product improvement and long-term support for our users.

The update strengthens integration with CAN FD, ADAS sensors, and driving robots, with additional improvements to setup and data verification.

Key Feature Updates

  • CAN FD Logging, Direct to the File
    VBOX 4 now fully supports logging CAN FD data directly to .VBB files for live results available in both the VBOX Test Suite and the MFD Touch.
     
  • Pass-By Noise Testing – Track Temperature Support
    Allows users to monitor and record changes in track temperature during pass-by noise testing.

  • Humanetics Ethernet Output
    You can now directly connect with a Humanetics robot via ethernet connection to simplify hardware and software setup.

  • ADAS Audio Sensor as an internal module
    Previously configured as an external CAN device, the VBOX Audio Sensor is now an RACELOGIC Module to allow easy setup and configuration for FCW, SBR, and DSM testing.

  • Wireless Wheel Speed Sensor Support
    VBOX Wheel Speed Sensors are now natively supported as a module, with simple calibration to improve test times.

  • Setup Enhancements
    • CAN FD Channel Configuration Tools
      Full control over CAN FD setup via VBOX Setup software.

    • Graph Preview Tool for Analogue and CAN Visualise live signals during setup to validate sensor connections before testing.

    • Wireless Wheel Speed Sensor Calibration Interface
      One-click in-software calibration adds convenience to setup and test runs.
